Want to talk to me?
Me, Me, Me.

song by Backstreet Boys

Trish Status sat on the swing at a park in Cameron, North Carolina listening to her best friend, Jeff Hardy talk about his dreams while pushing her. They had become instant friends at the age of eight when she had moved into a house a few miles away form his dad's house. She was a lot like him; quiet and artistic. And ten years later they were still great friends.

*Remember when, we never needed each other*

*The best of Friends, like*

*Sister and Brother*

*We understood we'd never be*

*Alone*

They were always inseparable but never thought anything about it. Everyone thought they were a perfect pair but they had just been friends.

*Those days are gone, now I want you so much*

*The night is long and I need your touch*

*Don't know what to say*

*Never meant to feel this way*

*Don't want to be*

*Alone tonight*

"Matt and I are going to try to get a contract with the WWE," Jeff said as Trish continued to listen even though she was millions of miles away in her own thoughts. "Trish, why don't you try too? You're good enough," he paused to hear her response but when she never said anything he stopped pushing her swing and walked in front of her. "Trish?"

"Huh?" she looked up at him.

"I asked you to try to get a contract with Matt and me"

"Oh...hmm...do you really thing I'd have a chance? I don't want to make an idiot of myself"

"Hell yeah I think you have a chance. You're good." Jeff looked at her. "Is something bothering you?" he asked noticing she was kind of distracted.

            "Jeff..."

"What? Tell me whatever is wrong."

Trish thought of what she wants to tell him but she's afraid of what might happen if she did. "Um...remember how we used to talk about falling in love? And the things we thought we'd feel so that we knew for sure it was love?"

"Yeah I remember, why? Have you fallen for someone?" he asked as he took a seat in the swing beside her.

"Yeah, I believe I have," she smiled at him.

"With whom?" he was interested in her newly shared confession. But he wasnt' prepared to hear her answer.

"You!" she said as she watched his facial expression change.

He was shocked; he couldn't believe what he had heard. He looked at her for a minute then stood up. "I'm sorry to leave Trish but I need some time along to think."

*What can I do, to make it right*

*Falling so hard, so fast this time*

*What did I say, what did you do?*

*How did I fall in love with you*

Trish watched Jeff walk away form her. Tears fell down her cheeks as she cried for him. She was surprised with his reaction. "I'm so sorry Jeff," she said aloud, "but I love you." She stood up grabbing her bag she walked to her car and headed home.

She walked into the house glumly, "Trish?" she heard her mom yell.

"Yeah mom," she walked into the kitchen.

"Jeff called while you were gone. He wants to talk to you."

"Well at the moment I'm not quite sure I want to talk to him momma," she said plopping down at a chair at the kitchen table where her mom was drinking a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper.

She looked up at her distressed daughter, "Aww...what happened?"

"I told him I love him, momma," Trish cried.

            "And?"

            "He walked away form me."

"Aww...sweet heart don't cry. Call him; see what he has to say. Sweetie you and Jeff have been best friends for ten years, you probably just surprised him."

"I hope so momma. I'd hate to loose him because I told him how I feel," Trish said standing up. "I'm going to go to my room and give him a call," she grabbed the cordless phone and made her way to her bedroom, which was coved in pictures that Jeff had drawn for her. She dialed the phone for the familiar number that she actually knew better than her own.

"Hello," Jeff's voice said on the other line. When no one said anything he added, "Trish?"

*I hear you voice*

*And I start to tremble*

*Brings back the child that, I resemble*

She couldn't bring herself to say anything so she hung up, something that she had done many times to crushes she tossed the phone cross her bed burying her face in the plush pink pillow on her bed.

Moments later the phone ran which startled her. Trish picked up the phone and held it in her hand staring at it as if in a daze while it continued to ring.

"Trish, answer the phone," her mom yelled from the hallway.

            "Hello," Trish managed to squeak.

            "Trish?"

            "Yeah it's me Jeff."

"Listen, I'm really sorry for the way I acted earlier. I..."

"It's okay Jeff," Trish cut him off. "I understand."

*I cannot pretend, that we can still be friends*

*Don't want to be*

*Alone*

"Will you listen to me Trish?"

"Why? So you can make me feel like an idiot? Jeff. I'm sorry that I said what I did. I..."

"I love you too Trish," Jeff interrupted her.

"You do?" she asked surprised by his confession.

"Yes, I love you Trish. I have for quite sometime but I was afraid to say something," he admitted.

            "Why?"

"Because I was afraid you wouldn't understand. I thought you'd be freaked out about it since we are best friends but I love."

"I love you too. Always and forever."

"How 'bout we go out then sometime on a real date?"

            "It's a deal."

            "Tomorrow? Dinner and dancing?"

            "I'd love to."

"Great. Talk to you then. 8:00 pm?"

            "Sure. See ya. 'Night."

            "Night Angel Babe."

Trish hung up the phone and sighed deeply. She was on cloud nine. Closing her eyes she leaned back onto her pillow and feel asleep dreaming about the man she'd love to spend the rest of her life with.

Hours later her mom came in to get the phone. "Who called sweetie?" she asked when Trish opened her eyes at the sound of her mom's footsteps.

"Jeff," she smiled. "He loves me!"

"Aww, that's great. Remember to be careful," her mom said causing Trish's face to grow red. She liked Jeff, he was a good kid and she hoped he didn't break her daughter's heart.

"Don't worry momma. I'm gonna go to sleep now, Jeff and I have a date tomorrow night."

            "Where are you two going?"

"Dancing after dinner. Is that okay?"

"Yeah just be home before too late and don't be too noisy coming in, your dad and I will probably be asleep. If I don't see ya tomorrow before then, have fun."

            "Thanks momma. Good Night."

"Night sweetie," she stood up and walked out of the room.

Trish pulled up her covers and drifted off to sleep.

She woke up at 10:00 a.m. and made her way to the bathroom. Then she went to the kitchen finding a note from her mom telling her to have a good time with Jeff. She grabbed an apple off the counter and went to the living room. Flipping on the TV, she got interested in watching a SpongeBob SquarePants marathon forgetting about time. The next thing he knew looking at the clock it was 5:00 pm. "Shit," she yelled jumping up to her feet. She ran to the phone wondering why it hadn't rang all day. Her mom must have turned the ringer off so it wouldnt wake her. She checked the call ID seeing that Jeff had called her five times. She quickly dialed his number.

"Hello?" he said after the tenth ring.

"Hey there," she said smiling to herself.

"Damn girl, where've ya been? I was beginning to think you'd chickened out of our date."

"Not in a million years Hardy. My mom had the ringer off and I've been watching TV."

            "Oh! So we still on?"

            "Definitely."

"Good, see ya in a few hours."

'See ya," Trish said hanging up and heading toward her room.

After a long debate over what to wear Trish decided upon a pair of tight fitting flare jeans and a baby blue tube top with a white midriff hoodie. When she was satisfied with her choices of clothes she grabbed a blue thong and matching bra and headed for the shower.

Letting the hot water flow over her body she lost track of time. Realizing she had only a certain amount of time to get ready she shut off the water and stepped out of the shower. She picked up a nearby towel and dried herself off. Then put on her under garments. She opened the bathroom door as the phone began to ring. Not thinking anything of it she ran to the living room to get the phone. She was startled by the sight of Jeff standing in the middle of the room.

*What can I do to make you mine*

*Falling so hard, so fast this time*

*What did I say, what did you do?*

*How did I fall in love with you*

Jeff's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Trish before him.

"Holy shit," she screamed and grabbed a blanket from the back of the couch.

*Oh I want to say this right*

*And it has to be tonight*

*Just need you to know, oh yeah*

"You're so beautiful," Jeff said making his way toward her. "No one answered the door so I let myself in. Hope you don't mind."

"It's okay, you only surprised me," Trish said watching Jeff.

He continued toward her slowly then put his hand behind her head, pulling her into a deep kiss while rubbing his other hand over her bare back. She returned his kiss with no protest dropping the cover she held in her hand to the floor. He pulled away and looked at her; he couldn't believe how much he loved her. "Listen how 'bout I wait here while you go get dressed. If we don't stop now I don't..."

She placed her finger on his lips. "Shh," she said grabbing his hand leading him to her room locking her door behind them in case one of her parents came home. She started to lead him to her bed but he stopped. "What's wrong?" she asked.

            "Are you sure about this?"

            "Yes, you?"

"Yeah," he picked her up and laid her on her bed and then stripped off his clothing all except his boxers. "I don't have anything for protection."

"Don't worry about it. I'm on birth control. The doctor prescribed it to me a few months ago to help me regulate."

"But I'd still feel better if I had a condom," he didn't want a chance of getting her pregnant. He wanted to make sure he was married and could provide security before becoming a father.

"There should be some in the top drawer of my night stand," she said as he reached over to open it. He reached in and pulled a condom out holding it up.

He kissed her and began to remove her bra and thong while she removed his boxers and helped him prepare himself. She kissed him while he entered her for the first time. She winced in pain as he kissed off the tears on her cheeks. "I'm sorry that it hurts you."

"Don't worry about it. Just make love to me."

Jeff moved in and out of her slowly at first while kissing her neck leaving a quarter sized hicky. "I love you," he whispered into her ear.

"I love you more," she said. "Shit," she screamed seeing the time on the clock, "we have to go, my dad will be home soon."

Jeff pulled out of her warm body and quickly started getting dressed. When he was finished Trish told him to go get in the car while she finished getting dressed. She grabbed her purse and a handful of condoms out of her stand sleeping on her sandals. She quickly pulled her hair back into a messy ponytail and turned the lights off grabbing the cover off the floor that she had dropped there earlier.

Once out of the house and in Jeff's car she relaxed. "If my dad would have come home. We'd be dead."

"So you still up for dinner?"

"Yeah but I think we should skip out on the dance."

            "And do what?"

"You'll just have to wait and see," she said winking at him.

"Oh, I bet ya I'll enjoy whatever you have planned," he winked back.

            "Oh, I'm sure you will."

They went to a local pizza joint for dinner, where they ran into Jeff's older brother Matt and his girlfriend, Amy. "Hey, there Jeffro," Matt called from the table he and Amy were setting at. "And Trish. What you two up to?"

"Well Mattie Boy we're here on a date like I assume you are but I'm not sure even Amy would stoop to your level and call whatever you two do a date. You're too lame for dates Mattie. Ames, you can do better," he joked.

Amy busted out laughing, "Oh Jeff, do you love terrorizing your brother?"

"Oh you bet Ames, it's so fun."

"Gee, I'm glad I can serve as entertainment for y'all," Matt said trying his best to sound pissed off.

"Everybody, The Hardyz are at it again," someone announced.

"Oh no, no we aren't at it. I'm here for a date tonight not to roll around on the ground with my brother just so I can kick his ass," Jeff said taking Trish by the hand and leading her to a table near Matt and Amy. "Sorry to disappoint ya," he added when he noticed all the eyes on him.

After they were finished with the medium cheese pizza and liter of Pepsi Jeff and Trish said goodbye to their friends and headed off. "Where to?" Jeff asked.

"You'll see. Hand over the keys," Trish responded.

Jeff reluctantly handed her the keys. "You better not hurt my car in any way, shape, or form," he growled before getting into the passenger's seat of his Black Corvette.

She started up the motor and put it into drive pulling out of the parking lot onto the road. She drove down the road toward their homes. Then just before getting to his dad's house she pulled onto a dirt road which led to a small club house that Matt and Jeff had once made or the lack nearby. She turned left toward the club house at the intersection and pulled the car to a stop about twenty feet away. "Come on," Trish said grabbing her bag from the back of the car.

Jeff grabbed her hand and led her to the place where they had had many long conversations. Never did he think he and her would be here to be together. He pushed open the door and allowed her to go in before him. She carefully spread the blanket on the ground. Then began to remove her clothes, it didn't take him long to start shedding her own clothes.

Before long they were standing in front of each other. She went to her bag and pulled out a condom then went to him kissing him softly on the lips. After a quick pause at his lips she began kissing a trail down his body stopping at his manliness. Jeff moaned softly as she ran her finger over the tip of his hardening cock in small circles.

"Oh God Trish. Don't just..." he moaned loudly as she took his cock into her mouth and began sucking mercilessly. Within minutes of deep-throating his hard on, he released his hot cum into her mouth, which she eagerly swallowed.

"Mmm...you taste good Jeff. Oh so good," she said taking her mouth away from him. She then grabbed his cock and began pumping her hand up and down the shaft. She tore open the condom she had brought with her and carefully placed it on his harness and then pushed him down to the ground straddling him.

As their bodies combined Jeff caressed her naked breasts and kissed her hard on the lips.

*I don't want to live this life*

*I don't want to say goodbye*

*With you I wanna spend*

*The rest of my life*

Jeff and Trish, both breathless, lay beside each other after they made love. They were both happier than they had ever been. Jeff rolled over on his side propping himself up on his elbow. "Trish," he said softly, his southern accent making him sound sexy as hell.

"Hmm," she rolled over on her side.

"Will you marry me?" he asked.

Trish couldn't believe what her ears had heard so she sat up and pinched her arm.

"What are you doing?" he asked looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

"I wanted to make sure I wasn't dreaming," she smiled. "And now that I know I'm not my answer is yes."

"Whoo! Thank you Girl! I love you so much."

"I love you too," she reached over and slid her hand across his face. She couldn't believe he was hers. She had wanted him to propose for so long but she never dreamt it would actually happen.

"Let's go tell your parents and my dad," Jeff grabbed his pants and slid into them then pulled his shirt on, grabbing the other stuff while Trish got dressed.
